Project Manager Blog

I work in an advertising agency as a project manager (however, we are called traffic coordinators). At our agency the production department gathers specifications for collateral jobs only (that is, brochures, billboards, etc). The project manager is left with the job of gathering the ad dimensions for advertisements only. I was wondering whose responsibility it was to gather all specs (including ads) in other agencies. My guess is production would gather it for everything.
